About Me

 I’m Katya Veksler, a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, ceramics, denim, and wood. I earned my BFA from Parsons School of Design in 2025.

Texture and color drive my practice. I’m drawn to layering, material memory, and the way time transforms a surface. My background in ceramics shapes how I approach painting — patiently and physically, allowing each layer to hold what came before it. Recycled denim and tactile materials extend that dialogue.
