The vessels

 This series of ceramic vases were all coil-built in a technique reflecting touch and the body. Each groove represents a fingermark smoothing the clay. The pieces are glazed very intentionally with pinks and reds representing flesh tones as well as girly colors. The inside of each vase includes a gradient from the dark middle to a lighter outside, creating an illusion of vastness and the never ending contents of a body.
